Ace Bakery, founded by Linda Haynes and Martin Connell in Caledon, Ontario, began as a passion for creating exceptional bread and baguettes using simple ingredients, traditional starter doughs, and time-honored methods like long fermentation and stone baking. Their artisanal approach quickly won the hearts of friends and family, leading to the opening of ACE Bakery in 1993 at King & Spadina, where it has since become a beloved destination for authentic, handcrafted bread.
