Founded in 1986, L'Ancêtre began when a group of farmers in Centre-du-Québec shifted to organic, eco-friendly practices. After refining their methods, they launched their first organic cheddar in 1993, and by 1996, built the L'Ancêtre Cheese Factory. Today, their organic cheeses and butters are certified by Québec Vrai and Biologique Canada, promoting health and sustainability for consumers, workers, and the environment.

WITHIN CANADA: We can ship to any postal addresses within Canada. 

SHIPPING WORLDWIDE: We do ship worldwide. Please note that due to border restrictions, some products are not available for shipping. In this case, we will contact you either by email or by phone. If products are stopped at the border for any reasons, we cannot send a refund or resend the order. 

IN-STORE PICKUP: Free (Option available to customers with a billing address located in British Columbia, Canada)
